About
Jadeley Louis-Jean is a Haitian-born visual artist, illustrator, designer, and curator based in New Jersey. Her multidisciplinary practice spans painting, graphic design, literary arts, and community-centered curation. Her work explores themes of identity, memory, emotional healing, and diasporic storytelling, using figurative imagery and recurring symbolic elements—such as flowers and expressive human forms—to invite reflection, softness, and connection.
In 2018, Jadeley founded Jade’s Art Corner, an independent creative studio offering custom design work and original art. Through the studio, she has produced custom journals, bookmarks, greeting cards, illustrations, and fine art pieces collected by individuals across multiple states. Her design approach prioritizes intention, clarity, and emotional resonance, bridging fine art sensibilities with accessible, functional design.
In addition to her personal practice, Jadeley is the creator of Today I Feel Check-In Cards—a social-emotional learning tool that uses visual art and affirmations to help individuals and educators build emotional awareness. This project exemplifies her commitment to merging mental health advocacy with creative expression.
